| Enver Yücesan |
Enver Yücesan is Professor of Operations Management in the Technology and Operations Management Area at INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France. His research and teaching is in stochastic modelling and analysis of complex systems such as supply chains, service systems, and transportation and telecommunication networks. In addition to publishing in academic journals and serving on their editorial boards, Professor Yücesan has worked in many industrial applications in automotive, white goods, agribusiness, fast-moving consumer goods, chemicals, medical devices, logistics, retail and software industries. He holds an industrial engineering degree from Purdue University and has a doctorate in operations research from Cornell University. He has been a visiting professor at Ecole des Mines de Nantes, at the University of Pennsylvania, and at the Naval Postgraduate School. A native of Turkey, he is married with two children. He loves basketball, jazz and glazed doughnuts.
